Join us for a series of short lunchtime workshops following our Foundation course about gender diversity in primary care!
These workshops are for anyone working in primary care, from GPs and nurses, to allied health, to admin and support staff.
The Foundation course covers some useful background and research about gender diversity in Aotearoa, language and terms about gender diversity, useful language tips specifically for primary care teams, and practical tools and tips you can use to help build a more welcoming and accessible practice for your trans and non-binary patients.
These sessions are 30 minutes long - a 20 minute presentation with time for questions and discussion - and run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30pm. There are two courses available, beginning 19th and 26th August.
For the week of 19th August, register here.
For the week of 26th August, register here.
If you can’t make a lunchtime session, or would prefer one 2hr evening session, express your interest here.
